Chapter 3 - Introduction to nTouch 180

Power connector socket

12V DC power connector.

On/off switch

Switches the unit on and off.

Note: Settings in the BIOS will power up the unit automatically

as soon as it receives power.

Serial ports

Male DB-9 connectors for RS-232 serial communications.

Ethernet ports 0 and 1

Standard RJ-45 connector that accepts a network data cable for

data transport to/from the internal network interface. A

connection is required to one of the two Ethernet ports.

Note: The unit does not support Power over Ethernet.

USB ports

For connecting a USB stick for unit recovery.

Reset button

Performs a hard reboot of the nTouch 180.
